Photoresistive gas sensor based on nanocrystalline ZnO sensitized with colloidal perovskite CsPbBr3 nanocrystals

The development of sensor materials which gas sensitivity activates under light illumination is great importance for the design portable analyzers with low power consumption. In present work a ZnO/CsPbBr3 nanocomposite based on nanocrystalline ZnO and colloidal cubic-shaped perovskite CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs) capped by oleic acide oleylamine was synthesized. individual obtained are characterized x-ray diffraction, low-temperature nitrogen adsorption, photoelectron spectroscopy, high angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy mapping UV–vis absorption spectroscopy. spectral dependence photoconductivity reveals well-defined peak that strongly correlates its optical spectrum. shows enhanced photoresponse visible (?max = 470 nm, 8 mW/cm2) in air, oxygen argone, compared pure ZnO. Under periodic temperature range 25?100 °C, response to 0.5–3.0 ppm NO2, unlike matrix, demonstrates NO2 same conditions above 100 °C. effects humidity signal also discussed.
